Although, I must say the last few days in LA have been a bit reminiscent of summer....oh the glory days! The mood boards are up and samples are flying in left right! Bah humbug its like my birthday everyday here. I walk into the office to find more and more Spring goodies and I have squeak with excitement! While, we are on the topic of squeaking...You should all know the most intriguing part of being on the LF team is collecting images for our mood boards. This upcoming season we are influenced by all things BEACH, so get out your Maui Babe and floppy hat and meet us at Tower 7 dudes!!!!!!

WHATS UP DENIM JACKET

Here's something you don't see every day...a Denim Jacket used as a layering piece not as an outwear piece. Its such a simple move, so much so any one can do it! The important thing to note is the rolling of the sleeve or as I like to put it "shjuge it". My take on the look for this not so cold west coast weather is simple.
1.White Tee
2.Denim Jacket
3. Fur vest
4.Coated skinnies
Four main ingredients should do the trick of creating this simple yet brilliant way of wearing a denim jacket. Don't forget to accessorize, it can make a look go from blah to ah!

It becomes one of those actions that when ever you buy something fantastic, eat something delicious, or see something breathtaking you have to capture it in a photograph. The best part is you get to customize that image with many yummy filters! I am always scrambling for time in between all my chaos at LF that I rarely have a chance to do personal posts. I haven't done a personal post in a while it seems. I feel like its been work work and all work. Here are some lovely images that I can't get out of my head. Hopefully some will suit your fancy. I'm definitely in soft neutral mode right now and well there is the occasional pop color! Why not? Some key notes to take are the ahhhmazing silk pajama looking pants that Daria is wearing and the Chloe studded boots. I would have to say that my new cozy time happiness pant is going to be the silk pajama. Those who hate well you just don't want to be cozy....I DO! J Crew's mastermind Jenna Lyon is selling her townhouse and I thought I would share some photos of her beautiful home. These pictures have been circulating for some time now, but with my obsession of interiors and my lack of blogging I thought although dated its still a must to post! I am one of those freaks who has a categorized binder with all things interior design (NO JOKE!). I look at in interior photo and take away so many details that an idea for my home is sure to spark! My newly unfurnished condo is so bare and boring and with all of my work traveling coupled with being lazy I have yet to decorate! When I laid my eyes on Jenna's home the first thing to catch my attention was the subtle gray walls! I could totally envision my home having the same feel! I am also super organic and have a serious fascination with antlers and fur throws! I have some in my bedroom but doing a whole wall in them is beyond!

The time is finally here oh yes...The Wayward Winter look book is finally out! Mahhhhh I have been itching to release these mind blowing photos forever now it seems like! We had a killer team as usual!!! Behind the lens Daniel Kincaid, who is the genius behind our night and day concept! Karina Moore my artist at large who did both hair and make up....oh how she killed it with those fiery red lids woah!!! Valeria Efanova the bad ass model who is part rock star and part comedian (who woulda thought?)! Oh and there is lil ol me who despite it all whips out outfits that are kinda amazing to my surprise! I had a major jewelry moment with this shoot thanks to two new brands I am stoked to carry, Luv AJ and Danni Jo! All of the clothing for winter is yum yum especially our novelty knits and shaggy jackets and I can't wait to get my hands on all of it! I haven't stopped swooning over the MAKE UP at fashion week. Starring at those models punims just made me wanna whip out my ol trusty Caboodle and get my make up on! I was completely taken a back by the simplistic yet quirky sequin look at Givenchy. I'm feeling the "Under The Sea" look is gonna be the look of the season and those sequin lids are so Ariel! I also fell in love with the luxe lashes at Louis Vuitton, the girly lash look is extremely attainable all ya need is DUO (the best lash glue). Last but not least, the attack of neon!!!!! I have mentioned before that I have a serious fascination with neon and when i saw this photo i nearly fell off my chair! The neon lashes and pigment stained neon lips are not the average put on your make up and go look, but it's definitely spot on! Loves!!

I have to admit that the last three look books I have done at least one shot featured a model rocking a braid some way or another! I dont know what it is but I can't get enough of those twisted little tendrils!!!!!I have attempted them on myself but since I have more brownISH color with lighter ends my hair would look like a challah in form of a braid; Not necessarily a bad thing since challah is delish, especially the chocolate chip kind (SSW kids know what I'm talking about!)

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of hanging with Jen in Malibu and took some cute shots for not so ordinary prom looks. I really love the no effort ease about living by the beach and creating prom looks that any laid back chic can rock. These are three of my favorites. The shot in the middle is my inner Stevie Nicks and the shot on the end looked so pretty moving in the sunlight.

Rumi is wearing yet again another LF fav Piece. The Millau Sheer Maxi Dress. As I am sure everyone knows it is NY Fashion Week and well if you are there you best be shopping the most insane sale of the season. Where is this sale do you ask????? Hello.... LF Stores obviously!!!!! I can't even describe how out of control this sale is. All I recommend is getting there as fast as you can because everything is flying out the door. Case in point Rumi's sheer maxi dress! Oh and if you are curious as to which NY locations to shop at I would suggest Soho or 5th Ave.
